What does BodyFX treat?
BodyFX is a non-invasive and non-surgical approach to body contouring, fat-reducing, skin tightening, and cellulite reduction. By delivering radiofrequency energy to the dermal tissues, fat cells are then forced to contract and breakdown, actively melting away fat. The body then discards these broken-down fat cells, leaving you more sculpted with tighter skin.
Does BodyFX hurt?
Since BodyFX is a non-invasive body contouring treatment, it is not painful. During the procedure you will feel light warming of the skin and a gentle pulling sensation. Since BodyFX targets fat cells of the specific area, it will not cause damage to other underlying tissue. The skin may be red after your treatment but will fade after 24-48 hours.
What can you expect during the treatment?
During treatment, a rectangular device is placed directly onto the skin which then suctions tissue. You’ll feel the device deliver a warm sensation as well as a slight zap at the end. For most individuals, treatment is painless and very comfortable. Each treatment can take up to 30-60 minutes depending on the area.
How many sessions do you need to see results?
We recommend starting with 6-8 treatments, depending on the area and volume. Maintenance treatments my be needed once every 3-6 months. Results will very, depending on the area and goals set. Lifestyle and diet will contribute to your results and help speed up the process. Your results will continue to improve for several weeks after your final treatment. Pictures will be taking before and after to track your progress.
What areas can be treated?
This treatment is ideal for that stubborn fat that just won’t go away with exercise and diet. We can treat anywhere on the body, but common areas are lower and upper abdomen, thighs, buttocks, arms, love handles, bra area, and knees.
Is there any down time?
There is no downtime with Body Fx and daily activities may be returned to right after. Expect the area to be slightly red for about 24-48 hours. Make sure to drink a lot of water!
How much does BodyFX cost?
Here at Surface we offer packages of 6 and 8. We charge for a small, medium, or large area. Packages range from $1400-$3200.
